Spectators are welcome, please make a donation to help cover our costs. All spectators MUST STAY BEHIND THE ORANGE TAPE. You will get one warning, and then be asked to leave. This is for your safety, we don't need any videos on youtube of a rig taking out the crowd. Children under 12 need to be with an adult. Pets must be on a leash.
Starting order will be decided at the drivers meeting by drawing numbers.
All competitors need to be at the playground by 7:30 am on Sat. There will be a short tech inspection, a drivers meeting, and a walk through of the course. The course is wide with several different options where you can pick your own line.
There are two classes, stock modified-36 inch and smaller tires (no buggies) and unlimited-37's and up.
There is no entry fee, but there will be a pot that competitors can put in on.
Rules to compete
1. You must have a cage that encloses the driver/co driver, working shoulder belts, fire extinguisher, battery tied down, dot helmet(s) and no loose junk bouncing around inside.
2. You must stay on the course. The course is well marked with yellow tape. If you break the plane of the tape by more than 50% of your vehicle, you will get a DNF for that run.
3. Keep arms and hands in at all times.
4. Driver and co-driver must stay in the vehicle if it is moving under it's own power. Co-driver may be outside, ONLY if wincing or righting a rolled vehicle. Driver and co-driver may right a rolled vehicle and not dnf.
5. Any outside help results in DNF for that run.
6. You MUST be staged when the person in front of you starts, of you dnf for that run.
7. If you winch, you must use rope, or a winch weight.
8. Must be at least 18, and have a valid drivers license to enter.
9. Run twice, fastest time wins.
10. No drinking by any competitor before or during the race time

Does the fire extinguiser need to be like the generic pull pin style extinguishers and does it need to be hard mounted somewhere?

The one I have now is like a smaller almost like pressurized squirt can type deal that I was just keeping in the center console, I mean its advertised as an acutal fire extinguisher just not as big/the usual container

Not being a dick, but given the iffy status of your fuel system and rig in general, I would go invest at least $30 into two decent extinguishers. It would be a shame to have the engine backfire through the intake and burn your entire rig to the ground because you had a worthless extinguisher.

And a question for you bigwoody, why the valid License requirement?

Maybe make sure the extinguisher accessable from the outside of the vehicle as well?

YEA. Now that's rock race talk!

All the pretty, cute, rainbow colored vehicles will need to meet at the pay post at the bottom of Daniel. There will be a magic bus sent to meet you. He will have....
armorall
wax
aluminum polish
chrome accessories
mallterain tires
6x6 block of wood to flex out on
and many other cute accents to make you cool.

We can camp fri night right?
Otherwise I'd have to get up suuuuper early sat morn to get there b4 7:30 :driver:
Another question, my younger brother was gonna be my spotter, he's only 15 w/ a drivers permit thou, i know ya'll had the 18 w/ valid licence to enter is he ok as my spotter?

Yes camping fri night.

I would prefer you have someone 18 or older. I'm not trying to be an ass, but if he gets hurt, it will be a pita for him and us. Since he is not an adult, his signature on a release don't mean squat.

will there be an open wheeling after the race???. Dont know if were camping or not. Just wanted to know since im driving the Jeep.
