Round 2: Keepin' up with the Joneses, Mud Devils and Tony Woody

Had a blast buddy thank you for the invite! Your rig is sorted for sure and it shows! Kipple creek for the favorite trail, ruined me now!!! I’ll try to get links up of some vid little E got if he ever loads them.

Matt it was great meeting you!
Great to meet you as well! Hate we didn't get more time to talk manufacturing and machining, but we will do it again sometime.
Thanks for the wise ass response I am currently using for stupid questions!😉
 There were so many, I don't even know which one you're referring to, but you're welcome! :D

New rear driveshaft, all jam nuts hit with the universal wrench (air chisel) and fluid check.
Soon as it's cooler than the back side of Lucifer's scrotum, I'll be ready.

When you said Carolina driveshaft I thought you were talking about that sketchy shop across from the hop in west Asheville😂
Not for crawler stuff. They've done a few light duty shafts for me with reasonable results. But for high speed or HD stuff, there's other options.
Carolina Driveline is in Spartanburg, good people and they understand crawler needs
Plus you can hit the Beacon while you're down there and poop your pants on the way home.

All said and done, truck did great.
Hit all the typical stuff at Gulches and no mechanical issues. The cab did get really fumey today. Did it last time I was out too. Gonna check my firewall plugs and see if something dislodged.
Planning on hitting the GER again in a few weeks. Better neglect to grease the Super joints for the 3rd straight year in preparation.
She twists up pretty dang good

Cat’s out of the bag now…The ranger’s days are numbered. The people want to know what chassis you’re going to be using for your buggy.

There will be a build thread later this year. Still accumulating parts
Until then, here's a pic of GER prep. Found my jam nut wrench. Keeps them tight!

Gave her a once over in preparation for a trip to GER coming up. Hit the jam nuts, topped off fluids and finally greased my Super joints.
Found some holes in the firewall from some missing plugs. So Zip tape to the rescue.
Ready for another beat down

It will have character about 10' into the first ride upon completion. Ain't especially easy on stuff or anything
That reminds me of my first ever drive in my buggy, @DirkaDirka875 was there and I pulled it out of the shop drove it around at low speed for a minute then pulled the front up the pond dam to check how it flexed and then I heard the sound of tire on metal rear fender, bending it and rubbing all the paint off. Then I had to back up. 10 min in the driveway with missing paint and bent metal.
