Tried to renew the registration today for the Class A that I have. Bought it new last year, DMV's online site says it has to be inspected before we can renew it. I thought RV's don't need it? At most of the inspection places there is no way I am going to fit a 38' RV into even their parking lot. Before I go ask DMV, is this accurate?

Yes it has ri be inspected. Because of the weight it will be safety only. So they could inspect in the parking lot.

Thanks, not too far from me and they have a good size parking lot in the back it looks like
When you pull in. The right building is for cars and the left larger building in for trucks ect. Just pull in go behind building spin RV around and pull up to one of the open bays.

Go inside and tell them RV inspection.

Yep Safety only. Up my way, if size is an issue, you may be able to find one down that way. An RV dealership that is, usually does inspections.
