One of our fellow east coast 4x4 guys, Mike VanCuren from VA suffered a heart attack and passed away unexpectedly this week while out of town on business. He was only 38. He was a great guy and always willing to help on the trail, even if it meant raiding parts off his truck for others in need. Mike has a wife and a 5yr old daughter and with the holidays coming up any help we can give them would be great. A paypal account has been set up for collecting donations, every little bit helps, even a few bucks.

Thoughts and prayers sent. I am that age and have 2 young daughters myself. This definately gets my attention.
If you feel like sharing any details, Im all ears. If not, its understandable

Thoughts and prayers for the family. So very young! I think I wheeled with him once in Mnt City, he was with his dad I think IIRC

We got the word last Thursday morning, I was in total disbelief (we are the same age, so it kinda hit home). He's been in and out of the shop for the last couple years, when he was here in town on business. We wheeled with Mike on numerous occasions. Great guy, he'll be missed.
