Safer gun access...

(For me) Priorities and level of preparedness and security go up exponentially with family growth.

Once I got married, now I had a wife to be concerned with. It wasn't just me. Then, when we brought the boy home....everything changed! Now I had this little life I had to be ready to jump into action for.

Yeah...that's what I'm finding out. It appears that has a tendency to civilize a guy.

(Things were so much simpler when I just had ME to be responsible for....now I look around for an adultier adult because I'm tired of adulting

Some times I feel as though my 7 month daughter looks at me and judges me like dafuq they let me come home with you for???

Yeah...the wife keeps telling me that too. Apparently answering the door in your boxers is a faux pas or something. This adulting thing gets more difficult with a wife and kid.
Girlfriend always freaks out when i walk around in my underwear asking me why i do it. ITS MY DAMN HOUSE ILL WALK AROUND NAKED IF I PLEASE AND IF THE NEIGHBORS WANT TO LOOK THREW MY WINDOW WELL SO BE IT!

BTW apparently that is not the correct answer....

Nude is the only way to go bro. You gotta mark your territory with sack sweat.

I’ve also found it’s a huge stress reliever to have a celebratory piss off the porch in the nude every morning

Word from the wise...pressure wash about every 6 months so fencing doesn't start yellowing. I just got to replace a section of white fence on my deck.

Not sure if the title makes sense, but historically, where ever I've lived I've had firearm hidden, but accessible in every room. With my own kid(s) and more young nieces/nephews, I feel like the guns need to be more than just hidden, but don't want to be fiddling with a lock when time is off the essence. Primary concerns are night stand in the bedroom, generally have one in a drawer near each outside door and some tucked away in kitchen cabinets. Not really looking to stay holstered 24/7 either. Maybe small finger print safes, in the same areas??? That doesn't really help with shot guns though.

What kind of neighborhood are you living in? I'm all for guns and have my fair share, plus 2 or 3, but really. For a good laugh y'all need to watch Jim Jefferies on "Gun Control"

Don't forget to watch Part 2.

#ban?

ownership of guns isnt about "enemies" or SD, so much as it is primarily as a check and balance against administrative take over

although, it could be easily argued the takeover has already happened by the power of the pen.... and gun ownership laws are just there to help support the "...the appearance of a reality, for reality" ~Roosevelt

It's actually a gated neighborhood. Old habits and whatnot.

I guess to answer the question, I keep a 9mm in a gun vault and a 12 gauge hanging on the closet wall behind a 4 digit deadbolt. All other guns are locked in the big safe. As for the #ban comment, I'll bury them in the yard before anybody takes my guns.

im sorry man... that sucks.

@shawn can @UTfball68 get a "small dick" diamond to help him feel better?

Meh...it works, and I get mine...that's all that matters.

Or a banner like fuller

You guys would miss me. Hell there are a couple dozen folks here I damn near talk to daily because Ford guys, vendors, customers.

I like my 10-digit touch pad drawer safe in the night stand. Only requires a 4-digit combination so i'm not fumbling through a long series of digits when trying to access quickly (this being in a hurry to put in a holster, not experience with an intruder). It doesnt do anything for me if a burglar comes in as he can just steal the drawer, but it serves its purpose of keeping children out. Next time I will probably go with a bio reader to be even quicker.
I would think bio/finger print safes would be the way to, esp if you are willing to drill holes inside the cabinets and firmly attach them.
I got a bio print reader safe from Dunham's, do not get one of those, spend some $ on a good one, I "programmed" it to me and my wife was able to open it with her finger, then I used the paw pad of my dog and that unlocked it too. I got one with a key pad and a pass code.

So with all the 'mine's on my hip' comments, I'm getting the sneaking suspicion I walk around in my boxers at home a helluva lot more than the average person, or is there another meaning for the term 'dick holster' I need to know about???

I can carry a full size glock in a remora holster wearing only boxers. Amazing how well they do. I can get it to move around if I do jumping jacks but it still doesn't fall out of the waist band.

i live in city limits so no peeing in the yard was the rules for having parties...... so my buddy climbs the tree on the property line and pees in the neighbors yard while yelling its not your yard so its okay.....
You need to find a new place I couldn't imagine not being able to piss outside I actually never use my toilet unless I have to shit
