Selling old batteries?

I have a ton of smallish lead acid batteries. They came out of emergency lighting but similar to UPS batteries. I have a plastic 4x4x4 crate full. Does anyone know someone that buys cores?

Most of the Metal recycle centers, buy batteries, along with any metals. Some pay by pound, some pay by the size. If you can catch a route driver, like Interstate Battery, they may, or know who might offer a little more. All I can offer.
