Looks like the new president has hit the ground running, before his election :)

Word on the Facebook page is of new business sponsors/members for SFWDA including OMIX-ADA, Moto Bilt and Toms's 4x4 which might mean even better Trailfest and Dixie Run raffles!

"We were able to reach out today to OMIX-ADA and had a very engaging discussion regarding the SFWDA path forward. We can bridge a relationship to this very critical 4x4 business partner and hopefully rebuild our relevancy as we repurpose our association. Scheduled for a follow-up mid to late March."

My pre meeting discussions with BOD members shows an honest desire to improve communications and reach out to members, new and old. We'll see what happens in the morning :)

Thanks to all that joined in the spirited discussions this morning as we repurpose SFWDA. Our mission going forward is to embrace all the 4x4 community in our efforts to communicate our core values - Conservation, Education and Recreation; and embrace both the public and private lands.

Let's rock on with a fresh attitude and commitments to create a relevant role for SFWDA in 2014.

I see the message to include Private lands was at least heard, I will call that a positive.

If execution matches words this will be a major step forward for the community.
 
I feel Confident that Ray will work hard to move in this direction, however 1 member can only achieve so much.
It will require all of us contributing as we can to make this successful.

I thought Ray was just the accountant. Did he get the presidency?
