I have reached the point in my first buildup of being "done." Took the Jeep out to URE with some friends to test out the new mods. Surprisingly it did great. Never had to get the strap out or ride cable(my friends). I was very happy with it and I'm even more excited to be out of the shop for a while. Too bad I might be getting an 8.8 on Sunday! :D Anyways heres a few poser shots I have.

ooo I see, it wouldn't allow me to attach them, ill go back and see what I can do, this is my first time trying to post pics so again, sorry all.
 
Went back and checked, and they only places my friends posted the pics(I'm to broke to buy a cam) are on sites that you have to log in. I'm sure there is a way to get them on the forum directly, but I read on how to post and just coudn't figure it out.:( Will someone fill me in? I know this is past events section and if this thread needs to be moved elsewhere I can just re-post a few shots later. Thanks again.
 
Thanks for posting those. I know they're lame compared to all of yall's but it was our first run for 3 Jeeps and I was proud that they held together. I did the lifts on the two TJs and everything on my YJ. I have some buildup pics I'll post later. Heres a link to a few more if anyone is interested....

Was that you riding with the old land rover? If so i was the one that was at kodak rock with you when you had the brake line trouble, driving the black toyota. Anyway nice jeep and nice to me ya.
 
Nah wasn't me. I was in the YJ, the 2 green TJ's and the red XJ are buddies I go to school with, and the blue TJ was an old high school friend. He goes to VT now. I didn't see hardly anyone on the trails. I saw 2 sammis at the outpost, and we ran into a well built yellow TJ and a YJ on daniel. The TJ was sporting a carolina rock shop sticker he may be on the board, but like I say I just joined and havent met too many people.
 
what part of what trail where the pics of the red jeep taken?
 
That would be the "ledge" On the Daniel Trail. Just 3-4 minutes from the parking lot at the base of the trail.

Wow... there really wasn't anyone else out there, huh?

In all of the times that I've been to Uwharrie, only TWICE have I ever made it to the ledge on Daniel in 3 or 4 minutes... every other time, there's always been traffic - usually, a lot of it! :rolleyes:

Yea somehow we lucked up because we had no one in front of us. I'm glad there wasn't traffic because I had 2 noobs with me. It was there first time at UNF and they shyed away from the ledge real quick.:rolleyes: So it was convenient to be able to back down.
