I used to shave with shaving cream & hated it cause I would break out every damn time. I was then introduced to shaving soap at Christmas by a friend & WOW! what a dagum difference. I will never use can-o-crap chaving cream again.
What do you use?
 
I use a can of Gillette shaving cream, so that's how I voted



BUT, what about the people who use electric razors????
 
Cream, and I break out every damn time:lol: Where do you get the soap and what is the name. Just shaving my neck right now, the ol face is gettin rowdy as I haven't shaved it in over 3mos:huggy:

This will sound brutal but its not....I use to break out as well, until I tried a bathroom fog free mirror and shave in the shower.
No cream just water.
I literally stick my face in the shower stream and shave....smooth as heeck and no razor burn.

I have been using this stuff from belk came in a nice kit 1 & 1/2 years now shit last forever. Geting ready to try some stuff my gf got me from www.vdhent.com

everything i try breaks me out so i just shave with clippers as close as i can. where do you get this magic stuff? thanks later........
 
I hate shaving. Pretty much quit when it gets cold, but I only use hot water when I do shave. The beard got pretty burly this winter, (think joaquin phoenix). And I was asked nicely by me current employer to shave/trim. I get razor burn regardless.

Noxima w/ Mach3 blades, shave in the shower. Only way I don't get tore up... (I dry the blade and can get ~30days on one cartridge.)
 
Dry shave. No soap ,no cream, no water, just a sharp blade. Been doing it since the military, ...for 20 years.

I knew some black dudes when I was in the military that shaved with butcher knives. They said they didn't get "bumps" on their face like they did with razors. No shit.
 
But shavin doesn't allow one of these to take root.....

I HATE shaving. Don't get bumps etc I just hate having to do it, such a PITA... esp cutting around trimmed 'stach, goatee etc
my hair is fairly light colored and I'm already ugly so I only do it about once a week, usually Sun night.

Use reg foamy can, Excel razors prob get a month out of each one and prob a year from a can lol.
 
In the shower, no cream. A little soap if I feel I might need it. Mach 5 razor. Blades ain't cheap, but the work really well. I was never an expensive razor guy, but damn if these things don't work, and they last forever! You know when one's dull. It feels like it's taking your face with it.
