Sleep Number beds?

My husband & I are looking to upgrade to a king size bed soon. I was wondering if anyone here has a Sleep Number bed & their opinions!? Thanks! :)
 
I don't have one but REALLY wish I did. The several of them I've slept on have yielded me much, MUCH better sleep nights than any other mattress, BY FAR!
 
Interesting. The wife and I are thinking about upsizing from a Queen to a King. She is a bed hog, lol. I too was wondering about those sleep number beds.
 
The only is issue I have with them is that the air mattress is a single bellow, per side in the king I think, which ultimately adjusts the heavyist part of your body up and down. While being able to adjust firmness is better than a traditional bed, there is a better option. I won't try and explain it just look at the web site. There used to be a store in North Hills Mall in Raleigh that sold them I don't know if it is still there. It's 90 nights free but I think if you don't buy from a local vender it would only cost shipping back.

Bruiser - do you happen to remember what model you have?

Thanks for the feedback guys! We've been shopping around for awhile & my husband always seems to come back to sleep number. We have a memory foam now that I like but it gets too hot & the queen size just doesn't have enough room (I've been accused of being a bed hog too). I'll definately check into the natural form beds too :)
 
We have a wired unit. I think our is the 7000 model. The one in the link except it is a king. We have had it for 4 or 5 yers now. Love it. I have had three back surgeries and a least a dozen (procedures) over the past five or six years. It has been very helpful and comfortable. The customer service folks are pretty good also. Our pump stopped worng so I called to see how much a new one was. Turns out that I still had like 6 months on my warranty. The replacement time was up but they will prorate it. Turns out the filter was clogged so once I cleaned it out everything woked fine. Out dog sleeps under our bed and she was the cause LOL.

Bottom line the best money I have spent. We have seriously thought about taking it with us when on vacations LOL
 
I got one a couple of years ago. I have had regular matresses and water bed in the past and this is the best bed setup that I have owned. I have the queen model with the wired display and the padded top.
