Man, those things saved my bacon. Mama was very sick and on O2 and if the power had gone out we would have been in a bad way without that extra gas. I know I told ya but thank you 🙏🏻.
 
Gas for chain saws and generator, check. 100lb propane bottle with about 3/4 of a tank for the generator, check. Main genny run, backup filled and run, check. Gas for Jeep, check. house has a full rack of wood and extra covered by the door, check. Ample supply of Honey, Check.

I'm good to go.

My F-n welding gas ran out today! :mad: I can still cut and fit and tack as needed.
 
yesterday, got the ATV going, easy fix, just needed a plug. Today got my gen running. Between my back and weak ass arms, I can't pull it to start it, so, had to disassemble the gen( EU3000-IS) to get to the battery. charged it up, shot a lil starting fluid in it and she cranked right up. Then pulled out my bigger gen, I had run it dry last time, so I put some gas in it and it poured out of the carb. I tapped on the carb and it stopped. Put it all back together, sprayed some starting fluid in it and it cranked on the one pull I was able to muster up. That went over to My Daughters house, they are so far off the road, seems like they loose power quiet often. Fire box full inside, and plenty on my porch. Y'all be safe out there!
 
Got the generator running yesterday. I thought the last time I ran it, I ran the gas out of it..... nope. Cleaned the carb 4 times, each time going progressively farther and finding more crap and crud. On the 4th time, hooked it back up and fired on the first pull like a champ. I will be very surprised if we don't lose power due to the ice. My work schedule starts at 2am or whenever the first flake falls so drink a beer or 3 for me...
 
Whatever we get, we are ready to roll. Got night shift at the station.

Hopefully no ditch extractions, but our dodge powerwagon is ready at the other station.
