Man, that was exhausting. Two loads in a 24' truck, plus a couple in the Silverado, then again this morning with the 16' trailer. One trip to the dump and it is DONE.

Tomorrow we close on the old house and we will have this all behind us.

Now the unpacking and organizing begins......

Buying a house and moving is a bitch, VERY exhausting mentally and physically. It is nice when it's a done deal, the dust settles, and you can finally sit back and relax in the new castle

Ive got this to look forward to in December... We've been in this house for 3 yrs now and I'm a lil bit of a hoarder. Not looking forward to it.... Congratulations on the new house!

That is awesome that both closings are done.

I'll be moving in about 6 weeks too. We are hiring movers for the house stuff, but It is probably going to take me 3 days to unload my 10x20 storage unit and move it all to the new house.

The neighbors haven't called zoning, or the sheriff's office, or an emergency meeting of the HOA yet?

:flipoff2:

No HOA, so not yet!

This neighborhood is perfect for us. It is in a nice looking neighborhood, big lots so more everyone's junk (including mine) is hidden pretty well. Makes my wife happy.

All the guys here are gearheads, too. One guy has an LT1 Vette and 70 Chevelle, guy across the street builds VWs and has a Baja, sandrail, and satin black Bug, guy a few houses down has a 67 GTO and a 72 LeMans, guy across the street from him has a 75 Vette he is restoring, very much my kind of place. And I have the biggest workshop.

Anything on the market?

Will post some later, don't have any on my work computer.

House is a little smaller, about 1600 sqft vs about 2100 sqft (although new one has unfinished upstairs that will make it bigger when I finish it), but the yard is 1.5 acres vs .2 acres. The garage is also 22x22 vs 20x22.

Oh, and the little 26x40 workshop in the back........ :)

Its funny how much that extra 2' of garage means... well thats 44 more sq ft of junk storage space.

And holy shit jealous of the workshop!

Congrats on the new place! Hopefully you can get it situated fairly quick and get back to working on your stuff :D

I'm in the middle of building a house....haven't even broke ground yet. I already want to set it on fire! Thankfully, I should only have one closing cost.

~1600 sq ft, the garage on the house is 24x24, but eventually I'm going to build a shop. I have a 32x50x9 (way too low) here at my parents house, but I'll be doing a 40x60x14 with a 20 ft shelter down the 60 ft side. I'm way more excited about that than I am the house  2.3 acres isn't too bad either, we have 9.75 at my parents though, but it's mostly wooded.

I'm trying to be proactive about thinning down the amount of crap I own so I don't have to spend a full week moving everything! I'll still have 3 trucks, a four wheeler (unless someone buys it!), my lawnmower, an old Ferguson tractor, 3 tool boxes, loads of truck parts, tools, etc, and an 18 ft equipment trailer......I really don't want to move all that stuff!

So still no pics for you yet, but I did get some shelves hung in the workshop.....

I like it! Except I don't think I would put my jack stands on the top shelf. Knowing my luck, they would rapidly transition to the floor with my head directly in their path of travel. You can put all of your gas cans up there though :D

Snag some pics of all the neighbor's badass rides too!

You haven't even lived there two weeks, and your shop already has too much junk in it.
