It can faulk right the faulk off as far as I'm concerned. It's not bad yet...some rain and a little breezy. From what I've seen it's not supposed to really get here until like 8am.

Emerald Isle got a big ass water spout and a tornado roll through.

How about yall up towards Raleigh and Fayetteville...how are you guys doing?

Just bands of rain, not too heavy and light breeze so far in rocky mount.

Couple tornadoes to the southeast of us earlier.

Damn thing is only moving at 8mph!

Tons of rain & light wind (Duke Energy Progress is reporting zero transmission outages right now) with tornadoes/water spouts spotted. I know New Bern & Kinston have crews pre-staged from within the state and from Louisiana Public Power to get everything restored when the winds die down. Brunswick Nuclear Plant has shutdown & will be put back online when they are in the clear. DEP also has 5 helicopters staged and ready to assess the lines when the winds die down.

EDIT: Isolated outages in Southport

We got hit in the middle of the night last night. Power went out around 3:30 am.....came back on for about 10 minutes a little while ago and off again now. Not a ton of rain really but the winds were no joke. Got a few big limbs down in the back yard but nothing too crazy. Glad it's gone, hope everyone else fares well.

Around 8 inches of rain so far here in Clinton wouldn’t be too bad but we’ve had right at 15inches in the last 2 weeks and the rivers and creeks are all ready high. So sweet potato’s are going to drown and the corns probably going to rot in the field don’t take to many years like this to lose it all. Was able to get one last generator at United rentals in Raleigh today hopefully I can keep it between the farm and house

Greenville isn’t too bad. Minor wind and some light rain.

In-laws are down in Morehead/Newport area and are getting more rain and wind but nothing too bad yet.

we are holding our own here. Tornado dropped down roughly half mile from my house but don't know how much damage. I just got done walking the parapet and all seems well.

Georgetown here. No power since sometime last night. Wind was less than expected thank goodness but still some limited damage. Seems like it’s rained 100”. Coastal flooding at high tide today. Wind out of the NNWish now. Good breeze, some gusts still. No skeeters or gnats thank goodness. They’ll be back out tomorrow when it’s time to clean up. I think it’s finally getting out of here.

I don't think you're gonna have a good night or morning and I hope you don't have much damage/flooding.

Wife's parents are out on Oak Island. They refused to vacate. In their 70s, her dad has a heart condition. Grrrr.
All we know is, they cut off the water to the island this morning and closed the bridge, so at the rate this thing is moving they're in for a long spell...

It was pleasantly breezy in the Foothills today. No rain as of yet. Winds died well before dark. Not sure if that was the storm or just normal weather. We shall see.

Stokes Co. had a very nice breeze with occasional clouds on Thursday ......

We just lost power. I saw a transformer blow a little bit ago on my way home from my sister's house. It's definitely windy and raining....we'll see how it goes.

DEP has outages that feed La Grange & Pikeville at ~5:15am that is affecting several EMCs in the area.
@Croatan_Kid are you on City of New Bern power or Carteret-Craven EMC?

Good news is the islands has over a million gallons in the tanks. Shouldn’t affect them water wise for a while.

Let me know if you need help with anything this weekend. I’ll be around doing storm cleanup and house stuff and trailer building. :)

Worst damage is my back from trying to get the generator to run last night "just in case". Bad fuel. Lights never flickered, less rain and wind than most decent thunder storms. Sounds like the coast got hammered.

The office in Harstville had no damage when I came in today. Yesterday we have wind and light rain all day in Camden. My MIL however is in Summerville, SC and had some damage. So I'll be loading up the tools in the truck and heading that way tomorrow.

Aberdeen as reported to me by my wife. Lots of rain all day yesterday but no issue. Wind picked up last night pretty good and blew the tarp off our big chicken coop. House, barn, and animals are all good to go today. Our Donkey Sam stood outside all day yesterday cause why would he go inside his barn?! He is such a dumbass.

We have a place on the island and we are headded down in the morning. If there is anything I can do to help let me know.
