I gave mine a quick boil to soften them up before I stuffed them. Not sure if that helped or hurt the process.I had one or two dry out but not terribly. Mainly the ends. I think I have the fix for that. Next time I’ll lightly coat the shells in olive oil and some bbq sauce inside the shell, make them all up and let them sit in the fridge for a few hours. It should soften the shells a little before they get hit with heat.
Nice small rig. Lookin’ good.Camping at the beach so the camper smoker it is….
Something a little different today. Elderly neighbors across street both 2x cancer survivors. She’s just started a 3rd round. Gonna smoke some ribs and make a slaw or garbage salad for them. Just more chillin’ for me. May go find a small butt and do some pulled pork. All the meat will go in portion sizes vac bags so they can reheat with boiling water.
I’m a 2x along with my brother in Fla. He’s just found out his prostate cancer is back. But he’s a hard ass old Marine so not worried about him. ;-)
Happen to be around Raleigh and want to throw somethin’ on, smoke is rollin’. ;-)
