so who got flooded?

no rain in my house, but my backyard has a good bit of water flowing across it. Cabarrus county schools is closed today.

My yard is a slight hill, with a 3-4 ft drop at the bottom, so no flooding, but definitely had big rivers flowing through the yard. Saw some pretty major creek flooding on the way to work though.

My boss just called in. he says so far this morning he's pulled 72 gallons of water out of his basement....his finished basement.

My basement had 3" of water in it this morning. my power went out last night so the sump pump wasn't working. The floor needed cleaning anyway!

I have a little beach on the lake that I have made and it was under 2-3 feet of water this morning. I have chairs, a table, a grill, cooler, some floats, and other random stuff down there. I had to go down there and chain all the stuff together and pick up the debris that was floating around. I feel like a hurricaine victim :shaking:

my crawl space had about a foot and a half of water in it, it was pouring out the entry door this morning. i did the responsible thing, i shut the door back.

got 9 inches of rain last night. Checked the basement before bed, nice and dry. Walked to the basement to get a shirt out of the dryer and splash...:shaking:

Only the 3rd time it has gotten wet in 7 years. Oh well, it will be shop vac time when I get off work.

My recently re-shovled driveway is now once again at the bottom of my street along with all of my neighbors driveways in a big gravely, dirt blob over 4 feet in diameter and 6 inchs deep

My dd Samurai had an inch of water in the floorboards this morning. Confused as too how it got in there but I could really give a:poop:less.......
