Just about finished up the spring over on my 'ol flatfender. Got some D44s out of a Cherokee Chief, put in some 5.38s and a couple spools. Used some stock YJ rear 5 leaf springs in the front, and some stock XJ springs in the rear. Right now with just the tub on it, to the top of the windshield is just over 6feet tall and it will come down a good bit once the cage, my fat ass and the engine/tranny/tcase are back in. Got a 304/t18/d20 to stuff in this little guy so that should be fun. Still have a good bit to do but thought Id post up a couple pics.

x2.....looks great

nice! it's good to see a simple, clean, and functional build sometimes among all the wild buggys, etc.

Well it looks like its gonna end up fitting under the hood...And it came down about 3" or so with the weight on it. Waiting on some parts to show up before I make the engine mounts and the skid plate/xmember....

Motor mounts..need to weld the tube to the frame and add a plate on the sides once I pull the motor for the final time..

Rear fender trimmage.. Set the cage back in to see what shes gonna look like...End up being 6'6" tall to the top of the cage. Bottom of crossmember is as 20" off the ground.
