Solid Axle out of business...

so i attempted to order some diff covers a couple weeks ago. just now realized they are not in yet. so i gave 4WD a call to see if they could track it. turns out that Solid Axle has gone out of business. wow... thats the second business that i know of (im sure there are others) in this sport that went out of business to include poison spyder customs. WTF?! how much further are we going to go in this shithole before we start rebuilding our economy??? my heart goes out to you all who has been affected by this...

IIRC Poison Spyder wasn't necessarily a victim of shithole economy, rather they got to where the ywere so busy and big it wasn't fun anymore, so he closed and scaled back to "roots".

Crane Cams, however - even bigger fish to bite the dust.
 
I hate that about Solid. I hope they will be back. Im a fan of their TJ 44s. Cheaper than Dyna-Trac and i feel just as good. Plus every time I called to talk about options and prices the owner was super nice.
