Something on your bucket list

Thank you.
I love this country and it would be an honor to become an integral part of it.
Thank you so much for posting this. I don't know you, but right now,I really needed to hear someone feels this way.
I'll save the long story as to why I needed hear this and just answer the question. Baja, in either a class one buggy or trophy truck. Wouldn't care if I finished dead last or only made half the trip. Just a few hours of seat time.

Do it.
Worth it.

This thread has got me torn completely out of the frame. We've been trying to drive through and experience something from each of the lower 48 states for a while now. We've been to 44 states so far but we had to miss Glacier National Park while we were in Montana due to it being on fire. We are deciding between going back to Montana and visiting Glacier or hitting Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, and going back through Maine. We'll be driving in the Ford with the 6.0 powerstroke. Maybe I should do something closer to home. :)

Going to Alaska for a few weeks.

Buy a sailboat and go everywhere Jimmy Buffet sings about.
Visit Australia.
I-40 Cannon Ball ......Wilmington to Barstow on Motorcyle.

Wheeling in Moab (going next year)

Couple weeks in Alaska and salmon fish while there.

Take a wheeling trip for a week, going to 3 or 4 different parks

Start a company that all the profits go to local off road parks for improvements.

I guess I'm just boring, dont want for much,or have been extremely blessed but I cant really say I have a bucket list.
I've been very blessed as well. There's not much I think would make my life any more complete.

I want to see Vegas with @BigClay and Mark
I want to see Moab again
I'd like to experience KOH as well as Rubicon but my life won't change if I don't
I would like to have my Barndominium land ready for grandkids to explore and have the childhood experiences around a creek and woods that I got....but hopefully I have a few more years to make that playground perfect before they arrive...maybe get an epic treehouse built before then too.
Eventually I'd like a nice pusher like Ben Covington to travel to wheeling destinations so Princess and the pups could chill in maximum comfort while I'm out breaking stuff on the trail with the boys
I'd love to take a 458 Italia around VIR

I'd like to design my own knife (Folder) and send it off to whoever... WE, Bestech, Reate, etc and get some prototypes back and get some hype around them and start my own knife company.

I also want a Polaris RzR, but I know I will never have an extra 20k to blow on something like that...

last time I checked I've got about 40 knives, maybe 20 folders.

here's mine:
1. Visit Australia
2. Visit Japan (good chance on this one since the youngest is stationed there but covid)
3. Visit Alaska
4. Take my finished XJ and road trip the hell out of it (all the way to the end of the Keys, out West, up North)
5. Retire and with my wife and spend the rest of my life comfortable and being senile together.

I'm not talking extravagant, I'm just talking something that has been in your head for a while you'd like to do, or in my case, something I always wanted to collect.

What is it? Well, it's something a lot of people do collect. License plates. Specifically, one from each state. I have seen the fake ones where they appear to have a plate from each state, cut out to form the map of the USA. I always thought it'd be kewl to have a map drawn out up on the inside wall of my shop, and put a plate in each states area. It's probably not something that would ever happen given my age and the fact I hardly ever go outside of the state, much less leave my home! But it's something that I think of often.

OK, Post up
I have some for you.....Oregon, Pa......

Shoot I just want to make it to wind rock, Harlan, AOP and the ranch but I'll settle for at least one trip for now lol.

Checked a few new states and other things off the list earlier this month... highlight was we saw a moose in the wilds of Maine.
They are some weird looking animals up close. Saw several in Alaska and one in Montana. An Alaskan guy told me that they are pretty sure God put the first moose together on the last day of creation just using spare parts .

 We saw one last year in Glacier but she was way off and only barely recognizable as a moose through the binoculars.

This one was 75 yds from our tent! I went to bed that night just hoping no bulls came through looking for her. Lots of moose crossing signs in Maine and NH, but thankfully we saw none on the roads.

I should've had the kids name her like they did the elk in our camp at Yellowstone last summer.
