Roasted goose, little greasy but Yummy!!
 
I can pretty much bet Semi would have acted about the same. But, I sure wouldn't have shot her. The dogs (water dogs) are trained to retrieve, not to kill.

that is very true, but most Chesapeake Bay retrievers that I have been around would have tore that goose a new :poop:

killing a goose out of season is a big fine

at the Golf course they :poop: everywhere and when they get on the greens the people playing hate it, we have 2 dogs that where trained to run the geese off, border collie and an Austrailian Shepard, they work together one in the water and one on the bank
 
Most Chesapeaks Ive been around would tear anything a new stink hole.

Man, we used to have a Chesapeake, best dog I think I have owned to date (currently on a Red Bone). And yes, he, Tex, would have not let that goose go until it was spread over the boat.

I've had one for 12 years, she's older now but in her hay day, she was one bad mofo. She's slimmed down to about 100lbs now, she was 125 most of her life. I've never locked my doors or felt the need for any type alarm, she still protects things around there.

I would have snapped the fuggers neck anyway and if someone said something, I would have said you should have seen the :poop: the bastard did before I started videoing him...
