STUPID THEIVES

Maybe if i left my truck there someone would be willing to steal all my empty beer cans outta the back for me! They're worth 5 cents a piece i hear, unless thats all just a lie.

It depends on how many times you reuse the media (tapes) as well..

Hey Chuck,
Handle my cake work

dvr tapes?

Thanks man....

ok, busted on my wording... I meaning to say, get a good camera, cause a crappy image can't be magically enhanced from a blurry pixelated image.
So yes the stuff in the movies where they have a shitty image and they "enhance" the image to read the name on a breifcase is most certainly BS. Enhancing and enlarging images is one thing that I do day in and day out. ;)
point being, make sure the image is good so you can read a plate at 70 yards.

You are 100% right here there is nothing tat can help a crappy image. If the camera guy gives the IT guy Chicken Shit, the chicken salad he gets back wont taste good.

BTW Greg, if you Need or Want a camera system, let me know. I can buy the components at killer prices and I even have a properly trained installer in Raleigh I could probably coax out of retirement for ya.

What ya say Brett?

naw mayan....it was Smokey in the first Friday flick.
Had an alarm on his drop-top Pinto..I remember Debo's girl said...''Smokey, I need to borrow your car'' And Smokey says
''Hayel no''
Red had an alarm on the escort too.

"He gonna cry in the car..."

I bet Debo come and took those shackles, while Greg was looking, but he couldnt do nothin bout it. You gotta knock him the 'F' out!

take an old/bad/damaged/unusable strap and cut it in half, roll it up with a note inside. Note says something about how his crooked ass is on camera and the police should be knocking at his door anytime soon...

Now leave the strap laying out in your truck for an easy 5 finger discount

If someone snaggs the strap, they'll have a useless strap and will always cringe when someone knocks on the door, wondering if its the cops...

I was talking to a friend that worked at a metal fab shop, they were having problems with people stealing steel out of the scrap bins at night. Their solution:

Video cameras were added facing the scrap bins, but here's the kicker:

The shop foreman fabbed up a pressurized paint can of sorts, which would go off when the piece of metal on top of it was removed. Well, needless to say, it worked. The crook (and I am sure much of the scrap metal) got covered with paint, and I am sure the "boom" from the bottle going off probably made the guy crap. Best part is they caught it all on tape. They haven't had problems with theives since then.

Smart thieves don't pull up to their victims..........they walk across the street. I had a jeep broken into at a dealership and I was amazed when I saw the tape. First off the guys cut my windows even though the door was unlocked.......then smashed a window and stole some audio stuff off another jeep and after all that made 2 trips across a main road with the goods in hand.

We had someone stealing the old copper wire from our scrap bins and the welding leads off of our welders at work.

We got some more copper in the bins and ended up hooking up high voltage electricity (whats used around high security fences) to the scrap bins. We installed cameras to tape the "events". When the idots returned, we couldn't stop laughing at the video of the shocking idots!!! They haven't been back since...
