wow sick looking truck...very very low

It's great to hear about your wife i lost my aunt a year ago to cancer. I pray she makes a full recovery. btw sick truck:beer:

Good news! Hope your wife is doing great and continues that way. Cool truck too.

In for this, your build plans sound similar to mine for my 67, except I'll be running a 5.3 and the original 3speed on the column. I might have to hit you up for the seat upholstery soon. Are you keeping the drums or converting to discs?

stickin with drums for know. disc aren't in the budget right know.

I understand that, I'm going 3/5 with spindles and springs and going disc at the same time, bags aren't in my budget right now haha. I went all CPP on those parts. Good luck with the build, great to hear about your wife, tell her to stay strong!:driver:

very nice can't wait to see it done

very cool, def cannot wait to see more.

This is my new favorite. COMPLETELY AWESOME. Now I want one.

Surprised you didn't go with a LS1 intake. If the hood doesn't fit, that might be an easy solution but it looks like it'll fit in there.

Are you going to paint and keep the current rims or are you going to go with something different?

See you kept the A/C compressor. Good man

thanks guys. i am going to paint it a stressed flat red. got the motor running on friday. it sounds wicked. i will post a video later. can't wait to fly down the intersted at 70 one inch off the ground.

Glad to hear the good report about the wife!

The build is looking great.... as usual..... looking forward to seeing it finished......

It's not a LS. LS have aluminum blocks
From the first line on the first page in the GM Performance catalog...

"The GM LS engine family is an engine design intended as the only V-8 engine used in General Motors' line of rear-wheel-drive cars and trucks. The LS series was a clean sheet design with little in common with the classic Chevrolet small block V8. Some LS engines are all-aluminium, especially the performance oriented engines, while others are cast iron, and all LS engines have 6-bolt main bearing caps".

I am not going to flame you for being stupid.
I think it was rude to interupt the thread while we are paying this guy a compliment on his hard work in honor of his Wife surviving cancer. Now go sit down and join the class.

AWESOME build!

I built a 62 several years ago myself

Got it to here before I was forced to sell it
