Swampy is being a bitch......it said it wanted a 6.0 and an atlas. I had to settle with a SBC and 205.....I'll never hear the end of it.

Sounds like a gm ignition control module. Take it out and throw it in the freezer for a couple of mins. Reinstall and it should fire up if thats the problem.

That sounds like vapor lock. Can a propane set up/ mixer vapor lock?
 
The has only cranked off propane 2 times....every other time maybe 10 or 12 either has been used

Yes sweet tits......I checked the fire. I put a few logs in it a little while ago.

:flipoff2: I've check on a few occasions to see if I still had fire and I did. It's almost like it moves out of timing without the dizzy moving.

This truck is going to gnaw at me till I'm broke so I guess I will put a new ignition module on it tomorrow so I can rule that out.

Is it running rough at all before you shut it off? Or is it perfectly fine and you shut it off then go back to crank it and nothing at all? My brother in law is damn good with Chevy's. He's built some pretty rowdy ones. He used to build dirt track motors. I'll give him a ring tomorrow and see what he says.

The motor came from a dirt track car.....It's hard as hell to start but then it runs awsome. I left it running for about 10 minutes earlier so see how it did sitting still (checking for cooling issues) and it ran awsome and then it was like it ran out of gas...or fire.
