jeff is the converter hard mounted to the cage?
and black steel run to the mixer?
if so you need to replace the steel with a rubber hose.
the viberation of the engine will break somthing.

The converter is hard mounted to the cage. I can add a bushing so that it doesn't create problems.

agreed

I'm going to change the mount to were it comes off the engine

I also picked up a new QM9000 winch today...maybe one day I will get to use it

I counted the teeth on the flywheel so I could finally order the starter that I need. Mine was a 168. My motor has some kinda strange dirt track oil pan and I just noticed that I have to drop the oil pan to get one of the starter bolts out (damnit). I just put new oil in it.
I installed the in cab switch for my winch....and thats about all I have gotten done. I've had to work on my buddy Tacoma the past 2 nights so that has sucked up my time.

UPS says that the starter should be here today. Anyone know a local place that I can get a Weld in AL bungs? I wanna put a trans temp guage in?

I put a new starter, battery, and sprayed some either in the mixer.....and she fired right up. I'm going to hit the hill climb tomorrow.

Kennith came over this morning and resolved my propane issues....Swampy is running sweet now. I also saw that it has roller rockers on it.

Here are a few new pictures....
If you leave Ed alone long enought...he breaks out the sharpie

I had a little shirt fire while was grinding the grove in the 2" square tube for my front driveshaft. I was pretty hammered at this point so my reaction time was a little slow.

Here is the new high torque starter beside the old HUGE starter

Then I added to the frame. It was a bitch because after I finished the frame...I cut and cut then hammered and welded the sheetmetal to the frame. The I cut out and bent a cover for it.

I'm going to have a pretty busy week but I hope to get the truck out of the basement and use it to get the blazer in the day

I still have to make a new mount for the converter. change valve cover gaskets and fill tranny fluid. It's gettin close :)

Depending of how the truck cools....It might get boat sides and the rad moved to the back.

What good is that fancy winch going to do you when you always have a dead battery and non-running engine?

I have a new battery...charging system works....starts and runs good now..

Switch was Free:flipoff2:

I caught up with Ryan from 4 wheel parts this evening....and he had my warranty replacement shocks...

I didn't get anything done on the truck today and I blame Braxton and all his cool shit.....
I did tinker with the blazer some but it still doesn't move.

Looks good man, what kinda rear springs are you runnin?

I installed/wired the winch tonight....I also put new valve cover gaskets and PCV valve.

The truck still runs :)
