I was walking through the hallway in my local Pub here in winston. There was a new sign hanging on the wall. it said LoneRider Brewery.

Also....a new handle on the tap. Sweet Josie.

Congrats guys. The bartender said its selling like crazy.
 
I can only speak for the Lone Rider, Shotgun Betty Hefeweizen. Even though I am not a wheat beer fan I bought it (for the 1st and last time) to have a little varity for our football get-together. I do know good Weizen from bad and this was pretty low end, middle of the road stuff. We were drinking Arrogant Bastard and Ranger IPA so that probably made it taste worse. But everyone at the get-together didn't like it.

Hey do I get commission? A new Brixx Pizza opened in Gastonia. I installed the draft beer system and I asked if they were putting any of yours on tap.
 
I've had Sweet Josie and Betty, liked both. Maybe I'm easily pleased though.
 
I am a huge fan of Sweet Josie! Can I get a 1/2 barrel for my kegerator? Glad to see it in bottles at my local Lowe's Foods and on tap at my local watering hole - Wooden Nickel in Hillsborough.
 
I am at the brewery every Friday night. Can't get enough!

You can get kegs at the brewery. Call to reserve one first or you cam do it online
 
Really not a beer drinker and dont know Shotgun Betty from Bud light..BUT...its great to hear that LoneRider Brewery is doing good. I feel sorta connected through Ken(Bruiser) and can remember his thread asking for potential investors in a new brewery venture, a few years back.

So ...Congrats Ken and friends on the companies growth and continued success!:beer:

I even saw the brewery on tv in an episode of Lizard Lick Towing.:lol:

Sweet Josie is pretty good. They finally started carrying it at the local store. I've been drinking the Natty Greens Brown Ale (Greensboro) ..

Sweet Josie is sorta the same but different... In a good way..
 
Funny I was introduced to LoneRider about 3 months ago. I wished I had heard about the investment. Ken, I don't think I've met you and don't know your relationship but I am a regular intern and a heck of a bottler. Put a word in to Kevin, David, Skyler, Ell (named something like that?) and Steve (I think is his name) and the gang for I'm in the market for a new job. Mine went south during the recession. They know me well.
I love beer only if it's wet so their brands are all good to me. They sell twice as much Betty as any other brand and is my favorite. But the sweet Josie is a close second. Just killed a keg of Sundance Kid.

Shotgun Betty...thats you guys too right? cause i heard a big conversation about that at Ziggy's tonight. positive feedback.
 
Who does your deliveries? New place in Charlotte is opening up. Carolina Ale House. They have 72 beers on tap and saw some of the Lone Rider kegs on the rack.

Probably just missed him. They called us yesterday to come hook up their mixed gas. (no beer) I left and they called an hour later because they had turned one of the chillers over and dumped some of the glycol out. Got there and the cooler was full of beer.
 
Crescent Moon in Hickory has Sweet Josie & it's great! I was excited to see LoneRider listed!
