I hated like hell to leave her tonight but the nurses said everyone needed to rest. I really dont have any worries for some reason???? I grew up without a dad so I guess I allready know what she needs plus the other special needs that pop up.

Being a female, I can say the easiest thing to do is go to the store and get the "no more tangles" spray stuff (hair insurance works the best)

Also, I normally start at the very tip, and be gentle. If you start at the tip and go down, do it again a little higher and go down. When you hit a knot you can do one of two things... you can grab the hair right above the knot... release the pressure from her head, hold tight and brush out that one spot starting from the bottom, and each time getting closer to the top, but still being gentle. If you are stopping her hair from being tugged out of her head she will not notice it, this will also keep the knot at a minimal
