Nice to meet ya!!
He's more of a douche in real life ain't he?Nice to meet ya!!
You’d think it wasn’t possible, but somehow he makes it happen. More of a testament to his willpower than anything. He's more of a douche in real life ain't he?
Too lazy to look back in pics, but do you still have inner fenders?Let’s see if this help air flow under the hood. If anything it looks mildly cool and adds 10HP because it came with two stickers.

Got ya, I rarely overheat but I’m not running fenders at all. Was thinking about doing the vents too to help with the heat. Mine sits outside most of the time so idk that I wanna do it.Yes. And they’re about to meet the sawzall.
Looks rad my dude.Let’s see if this help air flow under the hood. If anything it looks mildly cool and adds 10HP because it came with two stickers.

Yea, I’ve seen your heat soak problems. Surely it will fix that. Had the same happen with a wj before. Simply popping the hood and leaving it on the safety latch while wheeling would solve it. The v8 in mine stays pretty good. Just a few times it got hot. But probably need a cooler thermostat to start withYeah this hasn’t been an overheating issue. Mechanical fan and oem shroud works great. Just have had issues with vapor lock due to all the heat trapped in the engine bay.
I did mount these further back than the instructions specify so that the louvers were right over the engine and I left the drip trays out since it stays in the shop. But the motobilt kit does have them to keep water off the engine if it sits outside a lot.
It would be cooler with flooring vents like we all did back in '03.Looks rad my dude.

But @StretchASU is a man of high class and sophistication
I'm fighting the vapor lock issue now the weather is hot. I've got all sorts of insulation on fuel lines, fuel rail , injectors, ... I've got the hood vented, rerouted the exhaust and it still does it after a long climb. I think mine is due to the AW4 building a shit ton of heat and I still have complete inner fenders. I've got a set of Genright AL flat fenders I'm going to throw on there and do away with the inner fenders altogether, hopefully that will help or solve the issue.
Stock pump set up in a motobuilt fuel cell (behind rear seat).Internal stock style pump or external E2000/inline? I learned during the whole fuel line mess on this that the inline pumps sometimes have a small screen on the inlet and it gave the same symptoms just under different conditions. Any crud on that inlet screen and it had good enough fuel pressure to run to about 2800rpm then fell on its face. Fuel temp in the cell might be an issue too. I think Austin had to build a heat shield around his cell on one of the out west trips.
Dang. Mason Jar looks rough as hell these daysCorrect. I ended up soaking the fuel cell in ice bags and cold hotel towels with an umbrella and carried on Mary Poppins style until I got home. Once I got back, MarsFab built an awesome aluminum enclosure lined with insulation to keep it from baking in the sun (there was an air gap between them also). Fixed my issue entirely and I ran and E2000 under the tub. No inner fenders. Fuel rail wasn't wrapped and no hood vent for what its worth.
