Got word from my wiring guy that he's nearly finished and got it running on carb cleaner yesterday.

Hopefully it's drivable by then. It probably won't get tube until the winter. Hoping to hitch a ride to Dixie.

Light rain and lower temps provided the motivation to pull the front axle.

Got lucky and had anti seize on the u bolts and shocks

Can't bolt up the cruiser front untill I get new bushings.

Need to convert the 23 spine forward shift case I scored from @GONOVRIT to top shift before I assemble the duals. Guys have build threads on chopping and welding the forward shift rails so I figured that would be my plan until I remembered I had a long lost disassembled top shift case I had forgot about. Turns out it has the parts I need. Now to find the time without work and family...

Sadly, no progress on the truck. It's getting cold and shorter days. If history proves anything, it's about time for me to get started back on finishing this build...

It's still a thing sitting beside my shop! Mid summer I started a remodel on the house and it's consumed all of my free time and energy. I'll get back on it soon and hopefully be rolling by spring. The exo might take a while unless I land a financial windfall and can afford to pay someone to bend the toobs.

Been trying to get moving on this again. Rear axle is out and the 80 rear is waiting to get clocked .Can't do that till I get the duals in.

So I ordered a crossmember today and nearly finished assembling the cases.

Ready to stab. Still need a regular shifter for the range box.

Should have a crossmember arriving tomorrow.

Skid plate arrived. I'm sure the UPS guy loves packages like this. PB blaster on all the bolts and waiting for dawn.
