ok here we go, after alot of thought i got rid of my fully built yota buggy and bought a completly stock yj so i can have something i can drive to the trails and back with the family. One of my freinds thought this was funny and said my yj was something you would buy a senior in high school, so thats how it got its name. First thing i did was put a 4.5 inch rough country lift on it and a set of 33s. This is how it looked the day i drove it home

Well after the first trip to the flats, i really missed having a locker and i didnt want to drop one cent into these little dana axles i decided to go big. so i picked up these from a member. The plan is 4.56 gears and have not decided on what lockers im going with yet. Converting the rear to disc aslo from Gunbi.

Subbed! I'm thinking the same way about my toyota axles. Do I drop a bunch of $$$ in upgrades or just go for the tons?

FrontPorchFab i ran 38.5s with a stock rear axle welded and front axle with trailgear chromos, hub flanges, and yukon grizzly locker. never had a problem except steering arm studs kept coming loose on me.

Nice, sounds like we have very similar builds. I upgraded to the ARP studs and haven't had a problem since, but I have already broken a TG chromo birf.

get longfields and your problems will be solved.

Well got the drums tore off , now time to take my 2 year old son trick or treating .

status update : brake parts showed up this morning, so i went dropped off my hubs at metalwerx at lunch so he can get my brakes put on. As soon as he finishs up on the rear ill drop the front off .

can someone give me a idea or some part numbers for the brake hoses i will need to connect the front and rear brakes . also i was wandering can i reuse my front drive shaft with the HD dana44 ?

for front hoses, on my xj (check for yours tho) i'm running '95 chevy 1500 2wd lines. cheap and long. for the rear i'm running a dodge dakota like a '93 model.

cheap lines for cheap peope like me. haha
