The story behind the pictures. My wife, kids and I were visiting my mother's side of the family here in North Carolina today. Our family with another family own a farm in North Carolina, though I only own a TINY share of the farm, my grandfather lived there for years. 700+ acres of tobacco farm, though I didn't see any crops being grown at the moment, I'll be honest I don't know much about farming.

Anyway my brother and I decided to setup out from my aunt's house and roam the farm in my diesel 2006 Jeep Liberty, and it was amazing! It was fantastic to be able to drive across the land, and see no scene of civilization. No power lines, no properties, no roads, just nature and it was amazing.

My brother and I were blown away with how beautiful it all was and decided to take these pictures. Had a great day and I can't wait to do this in my 78 CJ-5!

Hey man its cool!! I prefer no bloomers usually but late is OK too!!

I got into the outdoors last summer going out on a friends boat and his jet ski, and then I was able to try out some light off roading in my old Blazer 4x4 before I sold it. I've always wanted a CJ, and mix that with my new found appreciation of the outdoors, decided to go for it. I have my Liberty which is my daily driver and my CJ5 which is going to be my main off-road vehicle once I get it up and running. I can't wait to take my CJ-5 back to the farm and see it without the roof and windows, and windshield in the way!

the smell of the outdoors is great in a topless ride too.........honeysuckles, fresh cut grass, silage.......I love it!!!

Cruising around in a topless, doorless CJ with the windshield down is pretty cool. I took me a long while to get used to wheeling my XJ, it felt so cramped and confining, and you can't see nearly as much outside the vehicle.
