Things to do in New Orleans

If your trip is to Oahu be prepared for overcrowded, terrible traffic, rude ass Asians, and overpriced everything. Things to see their are the USS Arizona & Pearl Harbor, hike Diamond Head, hike Koko Head, visit the North Shore as much as possible to get away from the rude ass Asians.

I was in New Orleans earlier this year. It's exactly as described above. I was in Vegas a couple years ago. I never had a desire to go and I would have never went it it wasn't for work but it was actually kinda cool. It's definitely not a place I want to live but it was cool to visit. It's a clean, non smelly, safer version of New Orleans. Except for all the strip club / escort cards that get handed out and are laying all over the place at night.
 
@ least you get to say you have been and have your own opinion. I would love to go just to say i have been there and to eat plenty good.
 
I love New Orleans. Plenty of tourist stuff to do if you want to take cemetery tours, museums, etc. I loved the great music everywhere, the great food, the whole different scene they have there. And just like any big city, don't be a dumbass and you can avoid problems. Try not to put yourself in a situation, and avoid people who walk up and try to hustle you. Smile, nod, be on your way. I went a few times when I was working in TX, once for Jazz Fest, which was great, and other times just to crush bourbon street and the surrounding areas, eating and drinking and enjoying the music and the people from all over that we'd meet. The people watching on bourbon street can sometimes be worth the trip, IMO. I'd go back anytime.
 
It's really not as bad as everyone made it out to be. It doesn't even smell like shit, which left me disappointed!

Some of you guys need more adventure in your lives, getting completely shit faced in skeezy ass places is one of my favorite past times. When in Rome and whatnot. Did NOLA once, all I really remember is autographing titties for some reason, and waking up on wicker furniture (which is a feat in and of itself because wicker typically doesn't care for the big bone-ded).
 
Things to do in New Orleans.
1-1 Evacuate the people there because it is a shit hole.
1-2 They will thank you because it is a shit hole.
1-3 Nuke the levee's and let the ocean have it back.
1-4 The world will thank you.
1-5 Because a shit hole has been destroyed.
