Picked this up over the weekend. Actually I picked it up a week ago, but the weather set my shipper back and it just got here yesterday. It isn't quite as nice as the guy said it was, but for what I have in it, so what.

It is a 95 Wrangler, with the 2putt5 and an automatic. Beat to snot. Has 160k miles on it and runs awesome.

The rear frame needs repair, and the body is a little beat but there is no real rust in the body so that is very good.

Plan is to replace the rear frame where it is rusted, then put a small lift on it and start wheeling it. Going to do a little work to it as the season goes on. Then in the off season I am going to do some bigger upgrades to it. Do that as I go, make it a really nice wheeler.

Figure since I am dealing Jeep parts, might as well have a Jeep to wheel!

And it will probably end up OD Green like Big Ugly.

So here is my new beast:

Chase is very excited, and he approves...

So now I'm unsure of what direction to go with this. We washed it last night and found some rust under the flares and some crappy body work in the back. Not a huge deal, but also found that the frame rust goes all the way past the second body mount. Almost seems like the frame would be easier to replace than repair, and this on a Jeep that only really has a good running 2.5 and clean floorboards going for it.

Well, I guess this can be deleted. I was talking it over with Chase and he wants to just part it and find a better one that we can start wheeling immediately. Can't say I blame him. I have a line on a few, if I can find some time to get out and look at them I'll probably buy one.
