Just kidding but i thought you would get a kick out of it. It is a 1/2 ton front wheel drive with a trailer grafted on to the frame.

Is it just me, pr does it look like the brame is already bent downward at the back of the cab?

There's a Lincoln Town Car built the same way that used to run around Boone. Except his started out as FWD...bet you he goes through the CV's pretty well.

how is he getting fwd? using a v-drive? dont tell me he uses a t case?

Its at a car show, so maybe it was done well with a FWD Eldorado or Olds setup. Those used FWD setups that were TH400 equivalents. I think they are pretty cool if done right..

But a 1/2 ton? Why not start with at least a 3/4 ton diesel?

I have seen a few of these at car shows since they are mainly used to haul some type of show car. I believe someone else already suggested and they are correct. It is a conversion using front portion of a front wheel drive Eldorado chassis. My dad used to have a front wheel drive Eldorado with a 500 V8 I think as long as you could keep gas in it, you could pull anything that would hook behind it. 105 MPH on the interstate felt like 60.

interesting.

For that kind of money, I would just buy a flat bed and be a repo man on the side. But if I had a car that was nice enough to need a trailer to get to car shows. I sure would have an enclosed trailer for it. Hate for a car that never gets rained on to get rained on, on the way to the car show.

That's really a 2.5 ton setup....Each rear axle is 3500 lbs....Jk this could be a cool setup if tweaked alot.
