just wanted to let all of you know that i've ordered a sherline tongue weight scale. i tow lots of different things, so it'll be invaluable for quickly setting up my loads vs. taking a stab in the dark then having to stop a few miles down the road and relocate things. having a two spot hauler, tongue weight can skyrocket in a hurry even when the load looks okay. i know a bathroom scale will work also, but you have to carry a board, brick, etc. around also since most only read to 300lbs.
anyway, i know most of you are towing the same load 90% of the time. so if anyone wants to borrow it to dial in where you need to put your rig/equipment each time on you trailer, just let me know. free to anyone local, or i'll ship it assuming you pay for it and a few bucks for my time/fuel. i'm trusting that no one is going to be an asshole and steal it, however if you're a new member don't be surprised if i say no unless you have a reference.
