Nothing special just some updated pics of the tow rig with the new box and bumpers on it. (got the parts from BigBlockBurris)

now for some black vinyl scallops to transition the black to the white, and, viola!
 
nice. i guess you lose some functionality of the service body, but a regular one looks a lot better and i'm sure saves weight.

if you need any lights for any reason, just let me know... i just replaced the tails/heads/corners on my suburban and have no need for them. i've got some chrome trim rings and center caps for those wheels too.

No no no, wheels will get the black paint treatment.. Honestly I sorta like the beater look.. No one messes with it..

Work body just fell off (sold it)... While cool, It was not needed..

Lost functionality... ya true... Did I really need the floor jack all the time ? Did I need to toss my WD hitch bars in the top box ? Did I need to carry 3 gals of coolant 2 ATF, 1 gal motor oil, extra jug of bug juice. Did I need 1/2 my camping supplies ? Plus much more junk..

Ruff - got a grill ? Ya tails would be cool.. I replaced the headlights a few months ago... the originals were white they were clouded so bad..

I slapped a gull wing tool box on and found I could fit everything I need just fine.. The rest will be stored in the (new) tonge box on the trailer or only packed in when I need it..

It's kinda nice not having the extra weight, it really gets up and moves now..

Anyway... some people were asking about it so i posted the pics.. I realize its not earth shattering news :)
 
sure, you can have the tails. they're a little faded, but no cracks/scratches or anything.

i might have a grill soon too, i'm keeping an eye out for a decent price on a one piece billet style.

As luck would have it, I'm going to have an extra grill (just very small crack around the parking light and a brand new in the box chrome front bumper. no black trim like the stockers. pm me if you're interested.
