No not waste. Wesson. Let's say you could have an unlimited supply on your door step for $1 a gallon
Not a 100% sure but no matter clean or used you still have to process the oil. Had a friend that did it for a while when diesel was close to $5 a gal. Cost him around 1.15 a gallon with free oil. For me new oil and the cost to process ill just pay 15 cents more and be done with it

I wouldn't run it, id fry the fuck out of everything that could be. You could maybe blend it with diesel but even then I wouldn't run it.

If you want our plan to ruin veggie oil, waste or fresh, a 12v ctd should be your ONLY consideration.

Running veggie in a 6.0 ... well i wouldn't

Not callin you out on it just curious as to why they wouldn't hold up.
Note I didn't say it wouldn't hold up, just that I wouldn't do it.

HEUIs are not very forgiving . They aren't as sensitive as common rail injectors, for sure. But, if it were me I'd prefer to run a true mechanical injector if I planned on alternative fuel

Does that mean that yours is running again?

Id try to find a low mile 6.0 f250/350 stock, and drive it. The high pressure oil systems on these engines can be touchy with running a bio setup. The 6.0's already have a problem with stiction in the injectors from improper maintenance, and use FORD FILTERS. AFTERMARKET OIL FILTERS DESTROY THESE ENGINES. They are slightly shorter than a ford filter, and allow unfiltered oil to go back into the system. Not good. Just my .02.

Stiction is a made up word by an advertising company that started selling snake oil for diesel owners.

Actually its a term thats been around for decades when referring to telescopic forks on bikes and dirtbikes. It's recently been hijacked "by an advertising company that started selling snake oil for diesel owners."

In engineering terms please differentiate friction and stiction. :flipoff2:

You can not use the word stick, stuck or any derivative there of.

Ok....GO!

Friction is the resistance of 2 surfaces sliding together (insert sexual joke here). Sticktion is a word made up by SkyHiK5 on the web forum of www.nc4x4.com that is yet to be defined :flipoff2:

Sticktion is a coloquial term of a used to identify the force required to overcome static friction reaction forces, specifically when said surfaces that have vastly different static and dynamic coefficients of friction.

The last clause makes it Sticktion

That guys a fraud.
Nah there is a company called Hot SHot Secret that sells diesel snake oil. That improves fuel efficiency, improves emissions, makes erections last longer and turns women on, regrows thinning hair and reduces beer belly....and they have numeorus videos about stiction

So do you rub it on or drink it?? Or does it depend on the targeted area??

I'm just working with what you gave me. You gotta quit changing your question ;)

I have two 6.0 Fords and love them. I also have a 7.3 I took on trade for sale.

If you are considering buying a 6.0, buy a SCT livewire TS or SCT X4 first. That way you can see what's going on with it and know about the problems it has. I can help you with the details. I know more than the average guy about 6.0 Fords, but I'm not expert. If you find one you want to buy drive it to me and I will tell you quite a bit about it. I can even loan you a Livewire TS and show you how to use it and what to look for. Also the trip across the mountains will be a good test. If the proper upgrades are done, you can't beat a 6.0 Powerstroke.

Agreed.
If its unmolested and the coolant temp and oil temp deltas are still good, its making good boost and the IAT isnt thrwing screwy umbers around.
If it isnt puking coolant already

Its tough to be
