What Matt said... I bought rough milled white oak from a local mill for about 1/3 of the cost if I had gone through Lowe's. Then stained it with some trailer deck stain.

I did the same process with my previous trailer when I replaced the deck. This new trailer will eventually get a new deck (came with pressure treated pine). I’m just hitting the tops with used ATF. When I do replace (maybe next year), white oak coated on all sides with the used ATF prior to installation.
