No, it it literally a way banks and other businesses can punish non-woke companies by refusing services or worse. This is a real thing, businesses finding out they cannot process CCs or having a supplier stop delivering.

What is worse, is that you and I will have a social credit score soon as well.

Dictates where large fund money goes. Pensions, 401k/IRAs funds, etc... have to have a good ESG number to be considered investible.
