uwharrie april 20-21st?

not trying to be difficult, but there is a forum specifically dedicated to this type of stuff. just noticed there are a couple of these threads going here in the chit chat section. you might have more success posting this in the upcoming events section.

Saturday, April 22nd, is a trail workday for the forest service. Meet us at the Hunt Camp, main entrance, at 9 AM. Work in the AM, ride trails (free) in the PM.

I've actually moved a couple of theads from this section to General Chit Chat on purpose. If you're posting saying "hey who's going?", then that' not an event, it's just chit chat. An event would be "I'm heading to Uwharrie, on this date, and meeting here at this time".

I'm going on April 20th, but it's a Thursday...

anybody else interested in taking a day off and riding some before the massive crowds that weekend? (Zuwharrie is Fri-Sun, 21st-23rd)...

that is the w/k of the zuwharrie event.. I'll be there from Friday around noon until late Monday. weather is off and on tstorms at the moment so it should be fun.

change of plans...

something has come up that knocked Thursday out...so we're going on Friday...

this may change who can or cannot go, so sorry for any inconvenience...

I'll be at the Outpost by 8:30am on Friday...and plan to leave by 4pm...

as of today there are There are 77 approved registrations. with 13 guests thats a total of 90 rigs going to the spring Zuwarrie fest at Uwharrie National Forest the week end of the 20th with aprox 300 people attending the event.

so what do ya think is it gona be crowded ?

that does not include the bronco club thats gona be there or the other week end wheels that dont know about the zufest.

Or the hundreds of folks coming out to do some trail work...:D
 
Too bad the Zuki/Bronco crowd couldn't pony up just one hour of time each for maintenance... that kind of headcount could fill the the workday quota for sveral months, if not finish off the years plans...

Man that is a great idea.. who here knows anyone at Zuwharrie group we can contact and ask???
