Uwharrie Rock Garden Pics?

A circle track mud race might be fun. maybe better on quads than trucks though.

2 acres of mud and no ones suggested a tug of war!?!?!?!

lol...and best of all......A womens mud wrestling championsip. Man, i love mud.

4-lo drag race.

4wheeler tug of war.

burn out contest always draws crowds. (i cant see blowing that much money on tires though)

man vs machine tug of war. put a truck in nuetral in the mud (or a slick strip of land, not necesarily buried in the mud) and have a team of 4-6 ( how ever many it takes, im not sure) and have them pull the truck through the mud for 25 yards or so. see what team can do it the fastest.

There's def gonna be a Mud Comp on Saturday noon till 8, I haven't hammered all the details out yet but its going to be strait drag stye, with two classes, open to general public. The pond isn't big enough to really have a circle track or tug of war IMO, but its def enough to play around in.

I also don't think anyone that is on less than tractor tires or Big Boggers Is going to be capable of stopping in the middle of the mud and then going again w/o getting stuck. I'm going to do a good bit of preruns in my jeep, and a couple other vehicles that range in modifications to get an idea of vehicle capability within the pit the week before the race weekend.

I'll post up the specifics of the Mud Comp when I figure it out, think I'll call it "Big Rick's Mud Bog" :driver:

hows it not big enough to have a tug of war???

hows it not big enough to have a tug of war???

as in with the other things goin on like the race and open to play in, the space would become very tight with another roped off area for a tug of war...

but if your in the play around area and feel like "pulling" your buddy out... that should work! haha

lol, i didnt really intend on anyone actually winning a tug of war contest.

the point of that is to fling mud EVERYWHERE. its called a crowd pleaser.

You will get more out of this event if you guys learn to please the crowd and not the contestants ricky!

They arent coming here to see someone win. they are coming here to see people getting nasty! thrashing theyre rucks on the rocks and mud. No one watches bristol for the winner...they watch for the wrecks.

I must be getting old, or it's getting late, but it seems to me a tug of war between trucks is rather dangerous.
According to physics, something HAS to break. It will be either (1) the traction of on the vehicles - most likely, or (2) some object between the two of them - the rope, hook, bumper, anything that could easily become a projectile.
I would love to wathc, but will do so from a good safe distance, lol.

Speaking of using different vehicles to test with...I heard Sean tell you that you could run mine as a tester......Sean was WRONG!! NO WAY!!! But bigwoody said you could borrow his!:flipoff2:
