Uwharrie Rock Garden Pics?

I just got a craving for the mudpit myself.

so where's the pictures of the supposed mud? those concrete pipes look nice, but where's a pic of that fun slippery stuff. last time i was at URE i didn't see ANY mud

The mud is across from the gas station at the stables. If its wet, I doubt anybody thats racing will make it across AND out. Across, yes- out, doubtful. Unless theres some sort of ramp or they keep the sides dry. Which means it'll be way cool.

The only reason their not letting the B class run in/on the rocks in the comp is 'cause the C & D class are scared of being "up classed" by the real rigs :flipoff2:..........
and the mud pit...........Damn.......ya'lls clay stains the shiat out of flat black paint:driver:...........so we'll be watching over by the beer tent:popcorn:
ugh, will there be a crane to get people off the rock/concrete jungle garden?
Or, do we get to see the carnage of vehicles being winched onto their tops:lol::lol:

Ohh!! and we vote for a sand pit for the jeeps and female mudwrestling....they don't need a vehicle..........but they can use mine:Rockon:

Just a friendly reminder...Go to www.americanwheeler.com to find alot of your answers to alot of your questions, regarding camping, maps, and tons of other info.

Also(pass it on) inside the festival grounds, you cannot bring in your own alchahol, but there will be beer for sale. This is not Americanwheeler's rule, it is straight from the insurance company and the sherrif. And we have to make sure this rule is followed......While we are on the subject....the police, sherrifs, and rangers are all adding officers and hours to their shifts to handle this event.SO, BE ON YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR AND BE CAREFUL AND LEGAL.....They are going to be watching our event like a hawk...look out for you!

what gas station, and stables?? i haven't seen any of those. But I've only been there twice. Will the mud be there come end of may, because I really want to play in it

The gas station is ''The Out Post'' on hwy 109...the stables are ''Uwharrie stables'' accross the rd. and just down a few hundred yrds.

The mud hole is a drained pond, just for this event. I imagine it will be filled after the event. The rock garden will stay, but the stables will control the entry and fees to ride it, after the event.

Check out the web-sight listed above.

I don't see an issue with anyone running tractor tires in the pit, just the normal vehicles might have issues, but we're gonna have a tractor out there for quick recovery. Main concern is the pit drying out, this rain aught to help, and I'm gonna be down there early in the week getting setup so i can churn it up as much as I can with my jeep so it aught to be Fun :driver:

Hi, this is Jackie from Uwharrie Stables. The mud hole will remain after the event. I don't think you guys have to worry about it drying out any time soon. Even if the top is dry, you still have 2 feet of mud under the surface. Right now, it looks like a pond again. I can't wait to see some people out playing in it. Everyone that has tried, has been stuck. How many of you are going to be here this weekend and what time do you guys think you will come? I want to make sure that I am here with my camera to post some pictures for everyone to see.

I'm glad your as excited about this as we are! Good to see people SUPPORTING off roading for a change!!!

Hmm. I'm pretty sure he hasn't met you.
Otherwise his post would have been.

"Aw crap. Not that guy."

:flipoff2:

As an aside, good luck with all the setup, and you may even want to try and have a "shallower" line for less modified vehicles to go through.
If possible.
