This past Saturday, the Line Mountain 4Wheelers had their race at Rausch Creek. Ran the coarse on the new property that's getting used for the RCRocs races etc, but w/ all the big rocks etc.

Was a great race, some 80+ trucks. Ran really fast, 10ish mile laps (x5) running in 20-25 min range.
The vid highlights the buggies/heavy mod guys, but there's a wide range from near-stock to WTF-is-that...

One of the MD Creepers, Dan Guyer took 1st place. He's in the big dark blue Jeep (ish) thing in the video seen passing around 1:25.
I took Jonas up for the day to hang out and "help pit" for Dan... he was all excited to be there but it was hard to explain why we actually didn't do anything at all since Dan never needed to stop :driver:.

I'll definitely be driving in this one next year. :burnout:

Oh and yes the funky box-looking thing at 3:11 dos indeed have wood sides.

Thats wicked they hauling on that course!

Yeah we figured Dan was averaging about 30mph across the 50+ mile run, which includes all the stops at checkpoints, slowing to pass people etc.
Just not many places on the east coast where you can do that.

Damn how do I always miss this race, when is the next one, can't every make koh, maybe i can do this next year, or do they have other races during the year

The LM4W have a plot of land up in Dornsife, PA that they run regular races on. Every year they do what they call a "3.5 miler", "Coal Bucket", and "7 miler" on that property. Those are the single-lap distances. They are pretty consistently set days, I'll see if I can find this year's schedule. They have a FB page.
This is just the 2nd time they have run at Rausch as a sort of add-on, previously it was in the fall. I was assuming it would be again and wasn't prepared :kaioken: .

Both links work for me.
They may be posting up the results etc - but yes. The website hasn't been updated in years so who knows.

Can't believe they got a video like that posted already. It has only been a couple of days. I checked the Line Mtn website days before the race. It was 'under maintenance' then. Guess it is more like 'out of commission.'

I hope Will took the gopro along with him. Hopefully he didn't stack it up right after the first turn in this one.

Line MOuntain did not get that video up.. that is From HeavyMetal ( he does the KOH videos ) and yes he is FAST..

Gotcha there. They were 2 unrelated thoughts (the vid and the line mtn website), but kinda lumped together...

Oh, and maybe it was the 2nd or third turn...

I'm still editing my stuff...man it takes a while...

I gave him my footage off my gopro's so there'll be alot more stuff like that.

Hopefully tonight.

And stop making fun of me. I'm sensitive.

I used to have to drive to Williamsport all the time. But I think you do make better time on the west side of the river.
