We Bought a RV Clark!! Oh no! Rebuild thread

    I will spend a little time this week cleaning it up a bit and making sure we are good to go for our first trip . Were gonna head to Uwharrie for the CTB Fun Caravan !

    Maybe I can get it all cleaned up and declare an official picture day!

    Elena is super excited to see Ella at the Fun Caravan! I’ll be down later Saturday afternoon and spend the night.

    Yes! I guess I left the thread hanging a bit. Still need an awning, and ladder bur other than that it's done. Been camping twice so far. I'll get updates and more pics soon.

    Update! We have had a few successful camping trips so far including a jeep tow trip up to Kairos WV.
    I havnt really accomplished much mechanical work on the rv other than a good oil change.
    That's about to change!

    How did you end up doing your generator? Last I remember reading, you were planning to put a portable style on a trailer hitch basket, and use it while driving.

    So far, I have not ran the generator while driving. I do have the hitch basket and have mocked it up, but just haven't actually done it on a trip. Farthest I've been is 3 hour trip, the fridge stayed cold.

    If that "gravel" road going in or the hill going up to Kairos didn't cause any issues, you're likely good going forward!
