My wife has started a FaceBook page for our farm. It is small and we are hoping to grow over time and I will help as I can until I retire in a few years from the Army when I can become more active. We currently are raising chickens (numerous breeds), ducks, goats (4 breeds) and pigs (2breeds). All are available for sale for their respective food qualities or as pets/ farm additions. We are located in Aberdeen. This isn’t official like a business yet but the first step in going in that direction.
If you’re on FB look up AKFourty Seven Farms (her name is Angela mine is Kris and both being vets it seemed to fit the theme).

Edit: if I need to upgrade to some sort of yellow diamond to pimp our wares I will do so lol.

I will look into that and with approval from the powers that be I’ll post up pics of our animals as they grow, birth out, and as we add to the “family”!

THE HBIC @trailhugger is the final word but the long standing rule is only vehicle or offroad hobby related businesses needed a vendor diamond

Been slacking on this and I intend to get the wife a screen name to post and keep this up to date. I’m “home” on summer leave and was lucky enough to be here for the birth of 9 turkey chicks (poults)! If they keep with the colors of the hen and Tom from when we first got them we should have 3 hens and 6 jakes. They are a mix between she is a pencil palm/ sweet grass and he is a domestic brown.

I liked the page on FB....

If she is already making videos, I would consider starting a YouTube channel. It could generate some extra income eventually.

We are just getting started with chickens, but I hope to expand to other poultry and pigs atleast over the next few years... I will be following along for sure.

We have Bacon Seeds!! 8 piglets out of our first sow. They are Potbelly/Kune-Kune mix. Everyone is doing well and nursing successfully. Have video but can’t figure out how to load it. Another sow yet to pop in the next few days! Things are getting busy at the farm and that’s a good thing!!
