My Boss just took a few of us out to Shabshabu on Wake Forest rd and man it was Awesome..

I really have not tried to much of it in the past.. but I think I could get used to this..

I had Hosomaki (i think that is the spelling)

So do others here eat it alot? and where else can I go??

I like Waraji at Pleasant Valley. Reasonable prices and good sushi. I'm not a big sushi person but i love Crunchy rolls.

yeah, waraji is good. so is sushi blues. my personal favorite is sushi thai though (going there tonight actually). $1 pieces and $2 rolls, can't beat that. some people say it's poor quality, but i've never been able to tell the difference. i had some tuna that tasted funny one time about a year ago, everything else has tasted great and i've never been sick from it in ~3 years.

sushi thai is right in the middle of raleigh... lake boone shopping center.

I haven't been there in about a year but when I lived in Raleigh I always went to Sushi Blues near state. The price is a little more that I like to pay for sushi but the rolls are very good.

There is a buffet place at the corner of millbrook and atlantic across from the autobell. They have excellent SUSHI and its all you can eat for I think $7.00. They make infront of you and its a good way to try alot of diffrent kinds.

Know how I know your gay?:gay:

I'll be honest when I say for 7 bucks the sushi is pretty freaking good. The other food not so much though. That and usually around lunch time its full of nasty people like me :flipoff2:

I think Sushi Blues has half priced sushi on Wednesday nights after 9pm.

Sushi Thai is good, though they are more expensive than Waraji, and i think the sushi is equally good.

yeah, the sushi thai in cary is owned by different people and i've heard it's not very good. i've never been there personally though.

i don't think so... the regular (big) rolls might be cheaper, but it can't be any cheaper than the other stuff. that i remember anyway, but it's been a while since i've been there.

Warajis is one of the better sushi places in the US. I lived in Japan for 3 years and I have eaten a lot of sushi, Warajis is top notch. Sweet Dragon for the best roll; Living in Japan, I go for basic and quality, maguro (tuna), ebi (shrimp), unagi (eel), and kani (crab).
