Boulevard Brewing 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat out of Kansas City is really good. A friend brought some back from working the bet fest in Columbia, SC.

Interesting. But I don't understand their carbonation. First pour and the ENTIRE. Glass was head. No exaggerations.

YA, this Jesus stout is a bit much. Sometimes I think the craft brewers like this try too hard.

Brewed a 10 gallon batch of Highlands Gaelic Ale Clone and tapped 5 gallons out of it tonight. Not my recipe, and not really HGA, but who cares! It's damn good anyway! I have 5 more gallons still fermenting. It'll be interesting to compare the longer fermentation.

I, for the first time in many years cracked the top on a good micro brewery ale made by a local Columbia SC brewery called River Rat.

The one I tasted was named "Metal Man", after the owner of a local metal fab company, Chris Stuyck, who I'm good friends with. Very flaverful!
