What have you done to your rig today?

image.jpeg
Cut a plexiglass windshield for my truggy, reinstalled rear transfer case with twinstick, pulled apart a badly twisted rear driveshaft, buttoned up the budbuilt skid, killed the battery playing pandora, mounted a 1000 lb capacity harbor freight truck crane to a receiver for the tow rig. Extracted 2 SD33's from the bed of the tow rig with crane.

Finally started making some visual progress.

Mounted fuel pumps, computer, cutting brakes, and misc other items. Wired up the engine to be sure it all fit.

Mounted trans cooler and PS remote filter.

Fabricated rear exhaust.

Install air fitting in the frame.

Begin pulling the buggy apart for final welding and paint.

tore down both doors for the Willys so they're ready to be blasted. Then the fun starts as that I have to buy patch panels :shaking: I also tore out the floor mat and saw that I will be needing to purchase some 18 ga steel.

Started helping a friend work on a shackle reverse kit and general refresh on an old YJ.

I'll ask him or I can borrow his big corn blaster and you buy media and rent the compressor and we can do it out in the field one weekend if you get a bunch of stuff done
I have no idea what you just said but yes.

Those things are handy but that lil hand winch will shit the bed pretty quick, esp if you hang some 60's off it.

Tires and wheels came in today, bolted them up. There's alot of mixed reviews on these mtrs but if I don't like em I'll ditch em. 15's fit just fine.

Pulled this spun bearing off the buggys crank and walked away from it to start cutting firewood. Looks like I'm going to be spending more time in the shop than on the trail for a while.
