What have you done to your rig today?

Sounds about right, but now that you’ve done it it’ll be easier to take it apart and reinstall it after you find out you missed something 🖕
Well, went and messed with it this afternoon. Found that the TQ isn’t seating all the way down. While I did install and turn until is seated down about 1/2-3/4”, it’s still not seated far enough in. The TQ weld nuts that fasten it to the flex plate are sticking out from the bellhousing mating surface by about 1/4”. I got it down further and just past flush, but it still needs to go further. Now to figure out why.

Multiple sets of splines to align, you probably have another set of splines to go before it’s homed. I know it’s like 4 clicks on a 4l60

Ya, been a LONG time since I was involved with a TQ install, and I wasn’t the one doing it. This is my first. Sounds like there’s three seats to be fully seated. I’ve only felt 2.

Date night at Hollywood Studios now. So I’ll try again tomorrow morning.

After much fiddle fawkin around the TC finally seated. I twisted and wiggled and spun and pulled and reinstalled for 30 minutes and it finally just popped in place.
