Born in Brooklyn, NY 1982, parents moved to Siler City, NC three months later, then I moved to Lexington, NC in 2002. Folks still stay in Siler City but in separate residences from each other now, lol.
 
Born in Shrevport, LA and moved to Walterboro, SC then to Dallas, NC from there to Greensboro, Kernersville, Walkertown, Belews Creek and now in Winston.....Looking to move towards Stokesdale soon
 
Spent my first 13 years in Boston. Moved to NC with the folks before going to VA for undergrad and then a few years working outside of DC. Realized I hated it, and moved back here.

Don't see myself moving, even after I'm done with grad school.
 
Moved from Ansted/Glenville/Gauley Bridge, WV in '64 for an assistantship at UNC. Lived in Graham and Buies Creek, but have been in Claremont since '76.
 
Eastern NC born and raised... escaped to Virginia Beach for about 10 years... ended up back where I started. Looking to go westward now! NC mountains are calling me!!
 
Born and raised in a little town on the PA/OH border just outside of Erie, PA. Left there after I graduated trade school. Went into the Navy and lived in Connecticut & Hawaii. When I got out moved to Cleveland OH for a few years and when I got offered a job here I jumped all over it. Been here almost 10 years.

I will never move back up north. I have seen and shoveled enough snow for a lifetime. I hate lake effect snow!!!

Wife and I were Born in Texas, Ft Worth (me) San Antonio (her). I came here to FT Bragg in 1985 assigned to the 82nd. When I retired we stayed here.

My dad was 82nd airborne. I'm "just up the road a ways" in Kinston. :)
 
I was born and raised in Athens, Georgia. Moved to Knoxville, Tennessee. Now here in Raleigh.

Weelllll, lets see... *deep breath* I was born in Texas, lived there for the first 16 years of my life. Then my mom uprooted us to move to Oklahoma to be more near where my stepdad was working, I lived there til 18 when Uncle Sam got hold of my asses to be one of his Misguided Children. Then lived in Cali for a year, Virginia For 3 years, then spent the following 4 best years of my life ('04-'08) in North Carolina, with a stint in the beautiful sands of Iraq thereabouts in the middle of that. Since 2008, I've been miserable in PA, and am desperately trying to find my way back to NC. Maybe one of these days?
