I posted something yesterday in General Chit Chat, and now, the whole freakin' post is gone!!!! What the?!?!? How'd that happen?!?!? It was titled "My muddin' day". Anybody got any ideas what's going on?

Simple answer..

You posted pics of wheeling on Power line trails ( 99% of the time that is illegal, unless the land owner has given you permission or you are the land owner.)

Just by looking at pics it is hard to tell if you were mudding legally or illegally so you post was removed.

FYI: This site is against Illegal wheeling

Please read for Legal places to wheel.

Oh. Ok. My bad...sorry. We weren't breaking any laws or anything, but I totally understand why the post was taken down. Thanks for letting me know why it was taken down, though.

Do you (or someone with you) own the land you were on?

Nope. It's just a spot everybody goes to and nobody cares. Although that might be changing soon because some people are tearing it up too badly and not leaving it in a condition where the owner and/or the power company can get to the lines easily enough. I know of some really good muddin land for sale that's not far from me and Mike and I are thinking about getting it to build a house on and to let people wheel. It's a really good chunk of land and we'd open it up to just about anybody, kinda like the owner of the land we were muddin' on.

This is the beginning of every story of every piece of land we USED to be able to wheel on...

Somebody cares, I am willing to bet. If you don't have the land owner's permission, you shouldn't be there. Regardless of how many people go there, or whether you think anyone cares. Not trying to be rude, but this is the sort of thing that gives all wheelers a bad name.

This is going to turn out bad, very bad......Hope you have a flame suit. Like stated without the owners permission you were wheeling illeaglly and are giving wheelers a bad name.

What he said.

unfortunatly the country is in a state where even the mere mention of it on a public forum throws up flags to the eco freeks.

did you know that there is a law specifically for prosecuting people who have been trespassing on power lines and construction sites?

hate to beat a dead horse, but thats a big party foul in the 4x4 community. please do not continue that activity and PLEASE relay the message to others. We are our biggest enemies when it comes to losing our 4wheeling places. keep it legal and keep on wheeling.

this reminds me of a friend of mine. he called and wanted to know if I wanted to make a quick 20 bucks to pull him out. Dude, I don't even pull out my dumbass friends on peps land I do not know. Plus what the hell is 20 bucks, that does not even cover gas. I gave him a 10 minute lecture too..... oohh the stories I have

no worrys, im not giving you a lecture unless you ask for me to.

oohh yea, back to the thread ....

shame on you

Umm...thought I conveyed it that it was cool with the owner....at least to some of us (myself included). He's starting to care now 'cause some people are tearing it up, but he's a really cool dude so long as you're cool to him and respect his property. I get everything that you guys are saying, but this guy said it was all good. I agree, however, that illegal wheelin gives everyone a bad name....just sayin' that I didn't do it.

Definitely not trying to convey or promote anybody to wheel without permission or illegally.
