Thank God my kids are grown. I'd be in jail for sure. Chewed out a bus driver who was intimidating one of mine, got reported, and I got a phone call. The driver got fired. Today? Geez...
 
In days gone by ALL the kids would go home and tell their parents they had to have one too.

Today some faculty would be hysterical, put the school on lockdown and call the law, kid would be suspended and the class forced to read some liberal common core koolaide book about guns and violence against others and all the other kids would go home and tell their parents they wanted a foam ball slingshot thingy.
 
That "TOY" came home with my kid today ( as toys go, I'm fine with it, may have even bought as a stocking stuffer or something )

This toy was PRIZE won thru a Jump Rope for Heart event the school participated in. Was given to her AT SCHOOL.

I'm not mad, or even remotely annoyed, more wondering WFT they were thinking given the current reactions to other "incidents"

if my kid had brought that to school, i'm pretty sure she wouldn't be finishing out the school year, and we'd have been arrested or at least heavily questioned

That'll teach them to hand out cool prizes for doing healthy activities.
 
Nah...it's discriminatory against fat kids :rolleyes: Oh, and calling them fat kids is mean too.
